Fiona Richardson

Fiona is Assistant Director at the Institute of Public Care at Oxford Brookes University. IPC offers applied research, consultancy, skills development and informatics to care providers, councils, and NHS organisations.

Fiona is an experienced manager of complex change programmes, and a qualified facilitator and coach supporting the development of managers in the sector. She has over 20 years’ experience leading capability building programmes for local authorities, NHS organisations, national governments, and care and support providers. Her specific areas of expertise include organisational learning and development, commissioning and market shaping, and informatics.

As well as leading the team undertaking the National Data and Cyber Security Programme, she is currently updating the national market position statement guidance for the LGA, and working with Tusla to develop national commissioning arrangements for children’s services in Ireland.
