Sue Brewin & Raj Kapoor
An associate trainer with the Alzheimer’s Society Training and Consultancy team with 21 years experience of working alongside people living with dementia.
Sue designs and facilitates training workshops across the UK to a broad range of audiences as well as facilitating training in Europe for the British Consul. The training workshops enable participants to understand the effects of dementia on the senses and how this in turn impacts on the way that people living with dementia view their environment.
As part of her role, Sue also carries out Observational audits to identify the nature of a care culture and the lived experience of people receiving support. She is currently part of the work with the Training and Consultancy team developing tools to measure the impact of the environment across health and social care settings as well as local businesses and services.
