Equality, Diversion and Inclusion – People at the Heart
In recent times there has been a growing focus on how the care sector addresses issues associated with equality, diversity and human rights. The welcome focus on this agenda is coming from a range of quarters, including the Dementia Action Alliance, The Care Quality Commission and the British Institute on Human Rights. It is critical, therefore, that care providers are confident in their understanding of how best to support people using services and their workforce in ways that focus on the importance of creating and sustaining inclusive communities.
