A MINDME GPS LOCATOR GIVES FREEDOM AND PEACE OF MIND Mindme Locate gives peace of mind to family and carers which means that people with dementia, or people who have learning difficulties, can go out and about because their carer knows their whereabouts. A Mindme Locate updates its location around every 4 minutes when moving or around every 10 minutes when stationary. Carers can set three geo-fences (in or out), which means that if a user wanders outside the fence an alert with be sent to the carer by text message or email. Likewise, wandering into a fence will activate an alert. Mindme Locate is designed for simplicity, with no confusing lights or buttons. It also has a very simple to use `drop-in` charger. The device will work wherever a mobile network phone signal exists, and can be used almost anywhere in the world. In many countries, such as those in the EU, North America, Australia and New Zealand there is no additional subscription charge. Mindme uses satellite technology to locate people who may have wandered or become lost. The user carries the device in a pocket or handbag or wears it like a pendant. If they wander, a family member or carer can go to the secure FIND area of the Mindme website - www.mindme.care - to see their location. There is no minimum term contract with a Mindme. You pay the first quarter and then continue to pay quarterly until you decide you need it no more. The Mindme subscription covers all the costs of operating your device and there are no hidden or extra charges.
