Introducing: Dementia, Care & Nursing Home Expo 2019

The Dementia, Care & Nursing Home Expo will return to NEC, Birmingham on the 26th & 27th March 2019. Having expanded the focus areas to include domiciliary care, the event will attract 5,500 care home, nursing home and domiciliary care business owners.

Much has been made of the ‘social care timebomb’ in recent months. The analogy refers to the growing demand for care. Care homes need to generate another 50,000 beds within five years to adhere to a growing demand, whilst the domiciliary care industry needs to become more cost and time efficient to save money and improve the level of care available.

The Dementia, Care & Nursing Home Expo is the UK’s only free event dedicated to growing the social care industry and achieving a sustainable social care model. What’s more, the Dementia, Care & Nursing Home Expo will run side-by-side with Naidex and Smart Home Tech. Naidex is Europe’s largest disability event whilst Smart Home Tech is the UK’s most revolutionary exhibition for automated smart home tech. Co-locating all three events has created the UK’s most influential centre for social care and independent living. Your free ticket gives you unrestricted access to all three shows.

Show features including masterclasses, the Virtual Dementia Tour and the Dementia, Care & Nursing Home Expo Awards makes this event a fantastic interactive hub for training, learning and business development. Masterclasses last year included free training on care home inspection and growing your care workforce, whilst the Virtual Dementia Tour proved incredibly popular with even the Minister of State for Care participating! The Dementia, Care & Nursing Home Expo Awards will recognise the most original, cost-effective and operational product or service that has or will affect positive change in the care industry. Last year’s awards recognised Pioneers in Technology, Innovation Excellence, Outstanding Care Home Service and Exceptional Contribution to Dementia Care.
