A presentation exploring the experiences of LGBT people living with dementia, and what housing and care providers can do to ensure they are supportive of LGBT people using their services. This new initiative is supported by the Guinness Partnership, led by LGBT Foundation and in partnership with National Dementia Action Alliance, Brighton & Hove Switchboard, LGB&T Partnership and LGBT Consortium. The presentation will include a short film produced by the Alzheimers Society, who led the innovation project from which this new initiative is expanding on.


Biography

Claire Days is the programme co-ordinator for Bring Dementia Out and is based at LGBT Foundation in Manchester.
