Prof June Andrews OBE FRCN FCGI FRSA RMN RGN MA
Prof Andrews is qualified to advise on issues involving older people, their health care and carers, how to age well, the quality, finance and economics of care home and home care, dementia, staffing, and policy issues around frailty and the ageing population. With experience in the NHS, care homes, government and a university, her views are independent and authoritative, based on evidence about what works and wide knowledge built over many years of advising families, professionals, organisations and governments nationally and internationally on policy and practice in this area and how to deal with a personal crisis or more generally the economic and social issues arising from the aging population. June has been recognised for her capacity to explain complex issues, whether finance, politics, neurology or human emotion, in plain language. Her talks are described as refreshing and often amusing, though deadly serious and based on evidence.
