National Care Awareness Survey

The purpose of the survey was to provide care professionals with a platform to express their concerns, but also opportunities within the care sector. The survey identified recruitment, retention, skill development, funding, and wellbeing as the biggest challenges facing the care industry. Also identified was an emphasis on the need for tech and digital solutions to meet the evolving needs of individuals while ensuring the provision of high-quality, accessible, and person-centred care.

Previous editions include the 2021 report and 2022 report. 2023 marks the third edition of the National Care Awareness Survey Report, completed by over 700 social care professionals in the UK. No matter your role in the care industry, the findings of this survey will not only shine a light on the overall consensus of the industry in which you work, but also provide you with the tools to better your workplace and ultimately improve the quality of care for the people who need it most.

We have received such an overwhelming response from the findings that we decided to continue the discussion live at UK Care Week 2024, where these same organisations took to the stage in an interactive session for attendees.
